Security-first AI enablement

Putting AI in business.+Knowing where not to.

We help founders and teams adopt AI without the blind spots, and build the systems around it that keep a human in charge.

Services

What we sell, and who it's for.

Three services, one principle: put AI to work, and keep it governed from day one.

Train your team to use AI well

Our flagship. A structured programme, from a one-day intensive to a multi-session cohort, that ends in documented governance artefacts your team uses immediately. No theory, real deliverables.

Find the right level of AI

We sit with founders and leaders to decide where AI belongs and where it does not, and put the guardrails in place before the exposure reaches production.

03 · Data & systems

Make legacy systems AI-ready

We build the secure, structured data layer AI depends on, and modernise legacy systems so they can support it. If the data is not trustworthy, the AI is not either. The result is a foundation you can govern, and build toward standards like ISO 42001.

A taste of the thinking

Where should AI go?

The hard part of AI is not using it. It is knowing where it does not belong. Pick a task and see where it lands.

The verdict is the lesson. The scoring behind it is the workshop.
The judgement here is what the OWASP LLM Top 10 calls excessive agency (LLM06), and what the NIST AI framework calls govern.
The approach

A human stays holding the AI.

Oversight, judgement and governance are not add-ons at the end. They are the point. Every engagement keeps a person in the loop, deciding where AI belongs, and where it does not.

The team

People we trained, now doing real work.

We train people on the FTSAI method, then they apply it. Two are now doing work for Lesson Assist, one of them consults back to us, and one is coming up behind them.

Software we build

We do not only advise on systems. We build them.

Chitra-SA is our own platform, a client media delivery portal that streamlines how media moves between a studio and its clients. Delivery, approvals, annotations, revisions and messaging in one place, instead of transfer links and email chains.

In daily use with Vansterdam Studios, Gillmans Media and Lesson Assist.

Where the client lands
The studio's own portal, not a transfer link buried in an email.
A Chitra-SA client library showing photo count, storage used, favourites and albums
02
The client's library
Every photo, album and revision in one place, with the counts visible to both sides.
A Chitra-SA revision thread between a studio and a client
03
Revisions in one thread
Feedback stays attached to the work instead of scattering across email.

Denzel Kobe · Trained by FTSAI, now a consultant to FTSAI and doing work for Lesson Assist

From a closed door in Johannesburg to the front of the room.

Denzel grew up in Johannesburg with a love for football. When that road closed, he found a new one in technology and software, though at first without the support to pursue it. He built his confidence in sales, then left to follow what really held him, the craft of software and systems.

Through C-SALT, a youth mentorship program run with FTSAI, he joined an educational platform built on the same governance principles FTSAI teaches. He arrived with a genuine love for software and an intermediate grasp of AI. The program taught him to use it fully and with judgement, and he went on to build production features.

Today Denzel understands not just how to use AI, but where and when it belongs, which is the heart of what we do. He now consults back to FTSAI on client work while doing work for Lesson Assist, which is the outcome we train for.

FTSAI builds and truly empowers youth and upcoming tech developers to see everything AI governance can accomplish. Denzel Kobe
